Handmade features Our soaps are made by hand and use high percentages of ground herbs, so they are sometimes irregular in shape and texture. This is nothing to worry about. You may also notice a white powdery coating or speckle on some soaps. This is purely from contact with air during curing and will disappear after the first use. As the soaps are so high in oils they harden slowly. Even gentle handling can make them irregular in shape and size - a natural result of the handmade process. In between use, allow your soap to dry to make it last longer. Bath bars and bath bombs may also have irregularities as they are handmade too. This does not affect their efficiency. Only mechanisation creates identical products and we believe that hand made products retain more of the therapeutic benefits.
